Communication and Marketing

Section 59-59-170(B) of the EEDA requires a statewide communication and marketing plan. An integrated plan for Personal Pathways to Success and the EEDA is being coordinated by Trone Public Relations in Charlotte, NC.

One component of their integrated plan is www.scpathways.org, a web portal designed as the primary online resource for students, parents, and the general public concerning Personal Pathways in South Carolina schools.

Work done by Trone is guided by a committee appointed by the Education and Economic Development Coordinating Council. The committee chair is Lee Bussell, Chairman and CEO of Chernoff Newman in Columbia. The Department of Education liaison to the Communication and Marketing Committee is Dr. Sabrina Moore.

Along with the five other committees working under the Coordinating Council, the Communications and Marketing Committee provides updates on their work at the Council meetings and when provided as powerpoint files, these reports are posted on this site at the Powerpoints link.

Requests or questions concerning the use of the Personal Pathways to Success logo should be directed to Trone.
