Guidance and Career Counseling

Many sections of the EEDA address the topics of career clusters, guidance counseling and personnel issues, and Individual Graduation Plans (IGPs), all of which are within the scope of work being done by the Guidance Curriculum Framework Committee.

The committee is co-chaired by Dr. Karen Woodward, Superintendent of Lexington One Schools and Dr. Anne Crook, President of Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, who provide the leadership for the development of seamless pathways and transitions among K-12 and post-secondary options.

Along with the five other committees working under the Coordinating Council, the Guidance Curriculum Framework Committee provides updates on their work at the Council meetings and when provided as powerpoint files, these reports are posted on this site at the Powerpoints link.
